Apocalypse Max: Various item pickups, checkpoints, and wooden bridges

In this video i show you different item pickups I added sounds to, along with a checkpoint, and a wooden breakable bridge that i did some sound design for. for the bridge i have some wood cracking, breaking and creaking,

Apocalypse Max: Piranha

With the Piranha I add a high pitch growl along with teeth chattering that i edited together to loop one time.

Apocalypse Max: Axe Thrower

In this video i felt that the Axe Thrower should have a grunt sound when he threw his axe. I also added some impact sounds to the character you play.

Apocalypse Max: Police Zombie

The sound effects in this video were all done by me using Adobe Audition. the zombie inhale and puke voice i pitch shift down and EQ it. the acid sound was from a steaming pipe that i edited a little and added some reverb to it.

Hover Board




I used mostly car sounds for the hover board. I used a car engine starting up for when you get on the board, a car engine turning off when you get off the board. I used a car engine when your riding the hover board, I then went into sound cue editor in UDK to increase the pitch of the engine when you move forward or decrease it when you go backwards. for the jumping sound I used a wrestling ring it makes a high pitch squeak that i liked. when you ram into the wall I used a cement block hitting the ground and EQed it. all the sounds were edited in Pro Tools

Sound Design: Lazer Gun



for the lazer firing I used a rocket launcher firing a rocket and a few air hiss sounds. 
for the alt fire which is the energy ball I used more air sounds that were EQed. for the energy ball explosion I used an explosion sound and some warped sounds on top and lowered the volume just a little bit to make it sound far away. all the sounds were edited in Pro Tools
